The German Masters 2016 – Outright Wins (Part 2 Of 2)

To Reach The Final

Ok after studying the bottom half of the draw I have decided to take a different approach here. The top half is tricky as the best players are in that half which also makes the bottom half as tricky as there are more players there of a similar standard too!

I am still adamant that the winner will come from the top half and the odds of 1/2 (1.50) back that up, so I am going for 2 players from the bottom half to reach the final instead.

Marco Fu

Well Marco has matured from an erratic to a consistent player over the last 2 or 3 seasons. He has reached 2 finals this season already, The General cup which he won and the runner-up in ET5

Liang Wenbo

I have really warmed to Liang since the UK Championships, his English might not be great but he more than makes up for it with his face slapping and general antics. If there was a prize for the player who wears his heart on his sleeve the most and another for the player who gurns (face pulling) the most Liang Wenbo would win both every season.

He too has reached 2 finals with the first one being The UK Championships where finished runner up to Robbo and on the way he had to come from behind to beat both Marco Fu and Judd Trump. The other final was the 6Reds where he was runner up once more.
