Horse Racing – Tuesday 12th April

It feels like ages since there was a class 1 race on a Tuesday that wasn’t in a festival, but as the flat gets under way there should be plenty lined up leading up to the classics next month.

4.30 Newmarket – Group 3 7F

John Gosden’s Nathra was 2nd last time out in a group 1 to the current 1,000 guineas favourite minding. That should be enough to win this group 3 with the withdrawal of Illuminate making it just that little bit easier.

The yard has won 6 races out of it’s last 40 runners which is a 15% strike rate which is perfectly acceptable.
