Judging by the betting it looks like The Ronald has joined Mark Selby by withdrawing which leaves this tournament wide open. Which is a shame as I was looking To LAY O’ Sullivan.
There have been three tournaments so far this season where outsiders won and two of those were part of the home nation series, The English Open won by Liang Wenbo and the Northern Ireland Open won by Mark King. So with two big guns absent tomorrow It will open this tournament right up.

I am not getting involved in round one as there are just too many matches to go through.
Ideally I would have like to trade the outright win market but the liquidity is pretty poor so I will back them each way instead.
Stuart Bingham has been pretty steady so far this season and although he might not have won anything yet he has reached two finals and three semi-finals.

Stephen Maguire won his two matches in the German Masters qualifiers earlier this week. Four out of his last six losing matches were deciders and one of the other matches that he lost he knocked in two centuries.
He has rented office space where he has put in his own table so that he doesn’t have any distractions and has really been putting the hours in, which has to pay dividends soon.

I can’t decide between Judd Trump, Kyren Wilson & Ali Carter so I will give this quarter a miss.
Mark Allen should like this format as he has won two PTCs. He has also knocked in a 147 in the UK Championship and reach two semi-finals in the last two months.
