Thursday is the final night of round one and I am getting stuck into three of the four matches.
Jelle klaasen v Jeffrey de Graaf (7.10pm)
Jelle Klassen made the semi-finals last year and must be pleased with his first round opponent. Jelle played well last time out in the Players Championship where he pushed Dave Chisnall all the way in round three, losing 10:9.
Jeffrey de Graaf went out of round one in five of his last six tournaments
Dave Chisnall v Roby-John Rodriguez (9pm)
Dave is coming into this tournament in good form as he finished runner-up to Michael van Gerwen in the Players Championship last time out. In hindsight I wish I traded him in the outright win market for the World Championship.
Roby-John Rodriguez can play some dreadful darts at times and really struggles against the top players.
These two met last here in 2015 where Dave won 3:0 and I am expecting a similar scoreline on Thursday.
Kim Huybrechts v James Wilson (10pm)
Kim is the obvious favourite in this match and rightly, so but I think this match will be much closer than the odds suggest.
These two played in the European Championship in October and James won 6:3. James also beat Dave Chisnall in November 5:2 in the Grand Slam Of Darts
