A steady profit for this tournament so far with four of my last five tips winning and the outright win tips are shaping up nicely here with a guaranteed profit as long a Barney doesn’t win.
My favourite game of the tournament so far has to be Gary v Chizzy with a coupe of records being broke in that match. Three matches left and I am am pretty sure we are in for more spectacular darts.
The semi-finals are the first to six sets.
Gary Anderson v Peter Wright
For his last two matches Gary has averaged 51% on his doubles, 107 three dart average and on the 180 front he has thrown 23! Peter’s three dart averages have all been 100+ for his four matches but I just feel that Gary has too much in his locker for Peter.
Peter Has been very light on his 180’s as in his first three matches he only managed six. Overall Gary has had twice as many 180’s as Peter; 33 compared to 16.
Michael van Gerwen v Raymond van Barneveld
Barney beat Michael here in the semi-finals last year and surprisingly he probably has the best record over Michael as Michael has only beaten Raymondo four times in their last nine Matches!
But Michael has won something like 25 tournament this year and beat Barney the last thrice 10:5, 8:4 & 7:2. Barney is playing well but he has only managed 38% and 33% on his double in his last two matches which indicates an easy MvG win here.
It’s 30:19 to Michael on the 180s.
