We are down to the last eight players and the format has increased to the first to five legs. The quarter-final line up is looking likely to be:-
Darryl Finton v Geert de Vos
Martin Adams v Jamie Hughes
Glen Durrant v D Labanauskas
Danny Noppert v Scott Waites
There will be further tips to follow for the evening session matches.
Darryl Finton v Geert de Vos 12.30pm
Darryl will probably win this but I was very impressed with Geert’s high scoring in his last match, which has put a niggling doubt in my mind about the winner of the opening quarter-final match. So I will give the outright win market a miss.
Instead I will be laying Darryl to get the most 180s as Geert got nine in his last match. Now as both of these two are close in price on the 180s front, evens & 6/5, I will lay Darryl rather than back Geert as I win if it ends a draw.

Martin Adams v Jamie Hughes 3pm
I have seen both of Martin’s matches and I have been impressed with both performances so far. Jamie is the worthy favourite here but I feel that Martin will put up a good fight and should win at least three sets.
