It’s an early start on Thursday with three sessions at 9am, 2pm & 7pm (GMT).
The Ronald got knocked out yesterday after a 4-1 lead over Mark King. I was willing The Ronald to win so that I could lay him to win in the outright win market, but it wasn’t to be.
Round two starts at 7pm so there should be tips up for that session around 5.30pm – 6pm, before the the Premier League darts starts.
Barry Hawkins v Michael White (9am GMT)
Barry has beaten Micheal in five of their six encounters and the match that Michael won was a decider. The last time they played was the Northern Ireland Open where Barry won 5:2.
Life is good for the likeable Barry Hawkins as he was the runner-up in the Northern Ireland Open and semi-finalist of the Masters. Barry should win this match with a bit in hand.
Marco Fu v Dave Gilbert (2pm GMT)
Marco reached the semi-finals of the UK Championship, won the Scottish Open and was a semi-finalists in The Masters!
Dave Gilbert won an PTC a couple of years ago and has been out of the headlines ever since.
