World Grand Prix Snooker Betting Tips – Mon 6th Feb (Round 1)

Coverage starts tonight at 6.45pm on ITV4 with the first rwo matches of the evening session starting at 7pm and tonight’s line up is as follows:-

Judd Trump v Tom Ford (7pm)

John Higgins v Michael White (7pm)

Dominic Dale v Liang Wenbo (8.30pm)

Barry Hawkins v Kyren Wilson (8.30pm)

John Higgins and Barry Hawkins should win but as it’s the first to four frames I will be siding with outsiders that I think will win for round one.

Judd Trump v Tom Ford

If there is going to be a shock result tonight I think it will be in this match.

Tom got a 147 break last week in the German Masters so he is obviously cueing well and he knocked out Judd in the the German Masters qualifiers back in December, winning 5:1. Judd is also prone to first round exits and has had two so far this season including last time out in round one of The Masters in January.

Snooker players tend to play well in spurts and Judd had his in the autumn and now I feel that it’s Tom’s turn.

Tom is just over 9/4 to get the highest break in this match which is very tempting considering that Judd tends to play exhibition shots once he has made a century!

Ford – Highest Break Scorer

Back Ford +1.5 Frames
