I was just going to go to bed and I just thought I would have a peek at the outright win market on Odds Checker here.
Unfortunately I have an exam on Saturday and I won’t have time to look at the afternoon matches, but I will be tipping for the evening session which starts at 7pm. My tips might be late which is all depending on the wifi on the train, but they will definitely be up in or around 7pm.
With no MvG, Anderson or Taylor anywhere to be seen in Minehead, the coast is clear for Peter Wright to lift his first televised title. It can’t get any easier than this and at 11/4 this is easy money.
Adrian Lewis is the second favourite and although he played well against James wade by coming from 3:0 down to win 10:8 and finished in style on a 121 checkout; his doubles were poor at only 28%. You won’t lift any silverware if you are missing your doubles!
Chizzy is playing Peter in the next round and yeah Dave is playing better in his last three matches, but he too is suspect on his finishing.
So I can’t see a player who can beat Peter, who is playing the best darts of his life at the moment and if he lifts the trophy on Sunday night I am sure we will see some tears from the likable Scotsman.
