Week seven takes us to Rotterdam which is the second year that they have hosted the Premier League. If last year is anything to go by it will be noisy as the crowd cheer on Barney and Michael.
Apologies for not having any tips for last week as I just had a hectic week so this weeks tips are up nice and early.
The cream is beginning to rise to the top with the best four players in the world sitting pretty at the top of the table. It’s not that long away until “Judgement night” in Cardiff on the 30th March where my tip of Kim Huybrechts getting eliminated here is looking very likely. Plus another of my tips of Peter Wright to qualify at 11/4 here is also looking good!
James Wade v Jelle Klaasen
James has been poor on his doubles for the last few weeks or so and Jelle has been blowing early leads to lose matches, so I will give this one a miss.
Peter Wright v Dave Chisnall
Peter Wright is playing the best darts of his career right now and I will stick with him during his purple patch!
Raymond van Barneveld v Gary Anderson
Gary has been pretty consistent for some time now and is stronger than Barney in every department.
Phil Taylor v Michael van Gerwen
Michael seems to be over his back problem and this should be another formality of a win for the Dutchman.
Kim Huybrechts v Adrian Lewis
Kim was impressive last week against Michael as he was matching him until the very end, losing another 7:5 match. But both Kim and Adrian are too inconsistent so I will avoid this match like the plague as anything can happen here.
I previously advised to back to lay Peter Wright at the start here at 13/1. So as he is at the top of the table, now is the time to lay him back for a “free” 7/1 bet on him!
Edge Win Treble
NB – A straight win treble is 3/1 (4.03). But I am opting for an “edge” treble instead which is only available with Betfair, which pays 5/4 but I have the safety net of a refund if one leg lets me down.
