PDC Premier League Darts Betting Tips – Thu 30th Mar (Week 9)

Week nine takes us to the Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff for “Judgement Night” where we say goodbye to Jelle Klaasen and Kim Huybrechts. In fact it feel’s like “Judgement Night” was last week!

I have tipped four edge multipes so far for the Premier League and each time one leg let me down, but  no harm done as I got my stake back. I have to get at least one right and I think week nine is the night!

2/2 winning tips last week and it’s looking like a profitable months for darts for March regardless of what happens on Thursday night. It’s just the one tip tonight as I have lost my stats for each week and it’s too time consuming to re do them, so there will be no most 180 lays for week nine.

Premier League darts tables

Peter Wright v Kim Huybrechts

Peter beat MvG at the weekend 6:3 to win his second ET event this year and poor old Kim hasn’t won a match at all in this year’s Premier League campaign. Peter is a too short in price to back to win in a single, but he is a good “banker” for a multiple.

Phil Taylor v Jelle Klaasen

I was very impressed with Phil Taylor last week when he beat Peter Wright, where as Jelle has under performed this year.  So I have to side with the old maestro himself here.

Gary Anderson v Adrian Lewis

Adrian has been playing better recently but I feel that Gary is far too superior in every department and should come out on top here.

Raymond van Barneveld v James Wade

Barney has beaten both Michael and Gary over the last two weeks so he is probably due a bad match! But I will sit this match out as there are more predictable matches to get stuck into.

Michael van Gerwen v Dave Chisnall

Micheal has the magic sign over Dave Chisnall as he has won their last 17 matches! There isn’t anything about Dave’s game that convinces me that he can win the final match of the night.

PDC Unibet Masters Betting Tips – Sun 29th Jan (Final)

Well it’s the final that I predicted here and in hindsight I should have done a no nonsense 2 point Anderson and MvG semi-final double.

Assuming I make money in the final, it will be the third profitable tournament in a row with the other two tournaments being both the PDC and the BDO World Championships.

This post has been typed up during Michael’s semi-final so prices won’t be available straight away, but they will be updated on my spreadsheet.

Don’t forget that the Premier League starts on Thursday and naturally I will be tipping for this and my tips will be up nice and early, probably Wednesday night. Click here to see the Premier League fixtures.

Michael van Gerwen v Gary Anderson

I don’t think MvG has been playing that good really and I am surprised that the ITV4 pundits haven’t mentioned it. Yeah he has be scoring heavy but his doubles have been poor compared to his usual high standards.

Michael’s doubles percentages average has only been 36% for this tournament, compared to Gary’s impressive 60%.

At this level with two heavy scorers it comes down to the doubles, so it’s Gary for me here at odds against. There is always the possibility that Michael will up his game for the final, but I will take my chances based on what has happened here so far.

The Premier League – Week 5

A steady profit so far in The Premier League and week 5 takes us to Exeter on Thursday night which showcases 5 matches and I think a draw or 2!

Phil Taylor v Adrian Lewis (7.10pm)

Phil should win this but with Adrian playing a lot better and more consistent these days, I could see Adrian nicking a draw, so I will sit this match out.

Dave Chisnall v James Wade (7.50pm)

Both playing well and a draw is a possibility here but I will be opting for the 180 market instead. Dave has average 5.5 180s over the last 2 weeks compared to James’s 4 180s.

Robert Thornton v Gary Anderson (8.30pm)

Both have had a slow start to this years campaign, but Gary should win this easily enough as Robert is playing his worst darts for years.

Peter Wright v Michael van Gerwen (9.10pm)

MvG is the man of the moment after getting a record 3 dart average last week. Peter is unbeaten so far and Michael should put an end to that!

Michael Smith v Raymond van Barneveld (9.50pm)

My number 1 rule of betting in darts is to avoid betting in a Barney darts match as he is very inconsistent, so I will give the final match of the night a miss.

The Premier League 2016 – Week 2

Gary Anderson v Michael van Gerwen (9.45pm)

Gary Anderson missed last weeks Premier League due to a virus and I am taking a chance that he will not have had as much practice as he would have liked before his match against Michael. Also as I mentioned previously, he has admitted that he hasn’t practised much since winning The World Championships and that showed in last weeks Unibet Masters.

I am putting this tip up nice and early as Bwin are offering evens for an MvG win and the rest are offering 10/11, 5/6 and 4/5. Evens will be long gone come Thursday night.
